"Research Network Participation and Education on Climate Change II"
In 2011/2012, our institute and our network partners continue to work on the conditions and factors influencing education and participation in climate change issues in the countries of the network partners.
The main activities in in 2012 are a qualitative comparative study on youth education and participation in climate related issues in different countries and the international conference “Communication, Education, Participation. Research Network
“Participation and Education on Climate Change I”
During the first project period 2008-2010, our institute and its partners dealt with the development and assessment of methods on participation, interdisciplinary education and ethical qualities on climate change. We analysed best practise examples of education and participation in climate protection, identified success factors and preconditions necessary for the successful implementation and sustainable effects of education and participation projects in this field.
The main project activities were staff exchange between the partners, three summer/winter schools in Berlin and Prague and a book publication.
