Within the project ZIVIKLI, a joint project with BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany), UfU e.V. examines the legal framework, existing structures as well as concrete possibilities and processes that enable civil society organizations (CSOs) in Georgia, Ukraine and Colombia to participate in national climate policy, especially with regard to the current revision process of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

After the finalization of a pre-study examining the juridical and political environment for the participation of CSOs in the formulation and implementation of their country’s NDCs, the second phase of this research includes, among others, an in-depth analysis of the past and present participatory processes in climate policies in each of the three countries.

For each country, UfU calls for proposals for carrying out a research answering specific questions about the participatory processes and its impacts in Georgia, Ukraine or Colombia. The results of this analysis will serve as input for the in-depth country studies mentioned earlier.

In the following you find the Terms of Reference for the Call of Proposals for each country for further specifications:

UfU is looking forward to your proposal until August 1st, 2019.
