Soko Klima - Shaping the city with a plan
The school grounds are being redesigned? The street in front of the school is being rebuilt? Would your pupils like to have a say? A planning office is to plan the conversion of an old industrial site and has been commissioned to involve the pupils of the neighboring school? And what does this have to do with climate protection and climate change? In our Soko Klima project, we have developed materials that can now be used for lessons or project work for the first time. Pupils can use the materials to
- explore how climate protection and climate impact adaptation are linked to urban climate and urban planning,
- learn to understand municipal planning processes,
- find out how children and young people can also get involved.
This is the first opportunity to use the materials and launch innovative and sustainable projects with your pupils. We support the planning and implementation of the project. The experience of the testers is incorporated into the printed version of the materials.
