How are we going tomorrow?

Hydrogen cars, pedelecs, electric or hybrid vehicles. They are becoming increasingly common on the roads: Vehicles that burn little or no fuel, but are powered by electricity – ideally from renewable energy sources. In order to prevent the global climate from warming by more than two degrees, experts believe that the transport sector must be “decarbonized” by 95 percent by 2050. What does this mean for our transportation today and in the future? Which alternative drives have the best chances? How can we change our mobility behavior? In a series of events, the project offers citizens the opportunity to find out more about alternative drive systems and provide food for thought. Experts from climate research, the automotive industry, mobility research, environmental associations and politics will give short keynote speeches to provide insights into their research, explain what is feasible and what is desirable, make suggestions for future mobility and then answer questions from citizens in a Speakers Corner . In a World Café, the participants of the event can discuss with each other, defend their opinions and creatively search for solutions.
