Register now for the German Nature Conservation Day in Wiesbaden

From 31.5. The 35th German Nature Conservation Day (DNT ) with digital expert forums and side events as well as a hybrid live event will take place in and from the RMCC Wiesbaden from June 1 to 2, 2021. Under the motto: “CITY-RURAL-FLUSS – What kind of nature do we want?”, Germany’s largest nature conservation congress is looking for answers to urgent questions that arise for nature conservation as a result of the rapid transformation of our cities and rural areas as well as the climate:

  • How can we stop species extinction and slow down the climate crisis?
  • How can new swarm cities be developed in an environmentally friendly and climate-friendly way?
  • How can rural areas be made more attractive as a place to work and live in a sustainable way?
  • Which allies can nature conservation win over to successfully help shape rapid change in urban and rural areas?
  • Can nature conservation assert itself in an attractive cultural landscape with high recreational value?

The digital program formats offer participants a variety of exciting new opportunities for interactive networking and participation in specialist forums, workshops, open forums and exhibitions. Young conservationists will increasingly be able to contribute their perspectives. The presentation of the “Wiesbaden Declaration” and the nature conservation policy discussion can be followed digitally on “Bühne Live” or, if possible in June, in person.

The program can be found here: 35DNT_Program
