Current court decisions and legislative procedures, amendment to the UmwRG, acceleration of procedures vs. participation rights, corporate responsibility and climate protection

We cordially invite you to the Association Network Participation Forum on Legal Environmental Issues on December 8, 2023 from 10:00 to 15:00. The event will take place exclusively digitally.

There is currently talk everywhere of speeding up Germany, reducing bureaucracy and speeding up procedures. For the necessary transformation towards a climate-neutral society, approval procedures urgently need to be accelerated – but not at the expense of participation rights and legal protection options. We would like to classify and discuss the current political and legal developments in this area with you. What impact does the debate and legislation on speeding up procedures have on your practical work? As always, we will also inform you about current court decisions and legislative procedures, in particular the upcoming reform of the Environmental Appeals Act.

The programme is aimed exclusively at full-time and voluntary representatives of recognized environmental and nature conservation associations. We look forward to seeing you again, to exchanging ideas and to your participation.
