“How do we develop schools into climate-neutral places of learning?”
Berlin wants to be climate-neutral by 2045 and therefore all Berlin schools too, ideally by 2030. What steps must a school take to achieve climate neutrality? What support do schools need to get closer to this goal? This will be discussed together with exciting guests at the 24th symposium on climate protection in schools.
In professional impulses and workshops, ideas and methods are presented on how corresponding content and activities can be integrated into lessons and everyday school life and how projects for climate neutrality can be initiated and implemented at school. A climate-neutral society is only possible if society is aware of the necessary steps. Schools have a special obligation due to their largecarbon footprint alone and, as a place of learning, can also act as an important role model in this transformation process.
We look forward to insightful presentations and inspiring exchanges with all interested teachers from Berlin.
The event is free of charge and recognized as official training by the state of Berlin (Lisum).
The event is aimed at Berlin teachers, educators, school administrators, environmental educators, extracurricular organizations for global learning, ESD multipliers, energy officers
