“Forum Umweltrechtsschutz 2021” – Virtual symposium on legal protection in environmental matters on March 2, 2021
The “Forum Umweltrechtsschutz” took place on March 2, 2021 – this year for the first time as a virtual conference with a good 200 participants.
In addition to taking stock of current developments in environmental class actions and presenting the current results of the ongoing research project on the number of lawsuits and the duration of court proceedings in environmental legal protection, the focus was on the legal changes in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and the effects of recent rulings.
The “Forum Umweltrechtsschutz 2021” is organized by the Independent Institute for Environmental Issues (UfU) on behalf of the Federal Environment Agency and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.
